Servomotor For Turbocharger.
The OE MATCH Servomotor for Turbocharger is a electronic actuator designed to precisely control the operation of the turbocharger on compatible Porsche models. This servomotor regulates the position of the turbocharger wastegate or variable geometry mechanism (where applicable), ensuring optimum boost pressure, engine efficiency and responsive power delivery across the entire rev range.

Fits:
  • Porsche 95B.2 Macan Petrol 2.0L (245Bhp) 2019-21

Diagram Ref No 5

The servomotor is engineered to withstand extreme engine bay temperatures, vibration, moisture and continual operating cycles. Designed as a  replacement, it integrates seamlessly with the engine control unit (ECU) and turbocharger assembly, delivering correct boost control and long-term reliability.

What This Product Does:
  • Controls the position of the turbocharger actuator.
  • Regulates turbocharger boost pressure.
  • Communicates with the engine control unit (ECU) for precise boost management.
  • Optimises engine performance and throttle response.
  • Helps improve fuel efficiency and emissions performance.
  • Protects the turbocharger from overboost or underboost conditions.
  • Forms an essential part of the engine's forced induction system.

Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
  • Illuminated engine management or check engine warning light.
  • Reduced engine power.
  • Poor acceleration or sluggish throttle response.
  • Vehicle entering limp-home mode.
  • Overboost or underboost fault codes.
  • Inconsistent turbocharger performance.
  • Increased fuel consumption.
  • Whining or abnormal noises from the turbocharger actuator.
  • Hesitation during acceleration.
  • Engine management fault codes relating to turbocharger control.

Why Replacement Matters:

  • The turbocharger servomotor operates continuously under the control of the engine management system, making constant adjustments to turbocharger operation based on engine load and driving conditions. Over time, the electric motor, internal gears, position sensor or electronic circuitry can wear or fail due to prolonged exposure to heat, vibration and environmental conditions.
  • A faulty servomotor can prevent the turbocharger from achieving the correct boost pressure, resulting in reduced engine performance, poor fuel economy, increased emissions and activation of limp-home mode. Continued operation with incorrect boost control may also place unnecessary strain on the turbocharger and other engine components.
