Temperature Sensor, Fuel.
The OE MATCH Porsche Fuel Temperature Sensor is a engine management component designed to accurately monitor the temperature of the fuel within the fuel system on compatible Porsche models. This precision-engineered sensor continuously measures fuel temperature and transmits real-time data to the engine control unit (ECU), allowing the fuel injection system to optimise fuel delivery, combustion efficiency and emissions performance.

Fits:
  • Porsche 957 Cayenne 3.0L Diesel 2007-10
  • Porsche 958 Cayenne V6 3.0L Diesel (245Hp) 2010-17
  • Porsche 958 Cayenne S V8 4.2L Diesel (382Hp) 2010-17
  • Porsche 970.1 Panamera Diesel V6 3.0L 2011-13
  • Porsche 970.2 Panamera Diesel V6 3.0L (250Hp) 2014-16
  • Porsche 95B.1 Macan S Diesel 3.0L V6 (258Bhp) 2014-18

The sensor is engineered to withstand continuous exposure to fuel, pressure fluctuations, vibration and varying operating temperatures. Designed as a replacement, it integrates seamlessly with the vehicle's engine management system, delivering correct performance and long-term reliability.

What This Product Does:
  • Continuously monitors the temperature of the fuel.
  • Sends accurate temperature data to the engine control unit (ECU).
  • Allows the ECU to optimise fuel injection and combustion.
  • Supports efficient engine performance and fuel economy.
  • Helps reduce exhaust emissions.
  • Assists reliable cold and hot engine operation.
  • Forms an essential part of the engine management and fuel injection system.

Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
  • Illuminated engine management or check engine warning light.
  • Engine management fault codes relating to the fuel temperature sensor.
  • Poor engine performance.
  • Rough idle.
  • Hesitation during acceleration.
  • Increased fuel consumption.
  • Difficult hot or cold starting.
  • Reduced engine efficiency.
  • Increased exhaust emissions.
  • Intermittent engine management issues.

Why Replacement Matters:

  • The fuel temperature sensor operates continuously in a demanding environment, where it is exposed to fuel, pressure changes, engine heat and constant vibration. Over time, the sensing element or internal electronics can deteriorate, causing inaccurate temperature readings or complete sensor failure.
  • A faulty fuel temperature sensor can provide incorrect data to the ECU, leading to improper fuel injection calculations, reduced engine performance, poor fuel economy and increased emissions. If left unresolved, it may also trigger engine management warning lights and affect the overall efficiency of the fuel injection system.
