Avoid Control Arm Failure
For Safari type cars we recommend reinforcing the control arms to help cope with the additional forces that off-road vehicles must deal with.
These precision cut steel plates and gussets are to be welded at strategic locations to strengthen the factory control arms.

Coilover brake line support bracket kit.
Fits:
Porsche 911 - 1965 to 1989
Standard front struts have welded-on brackets to support the brake hard line. Threaded body coilover struts and coilover sleeve conversion require the removal of these brackets, leaving the brake lines unsupported and prone to failure – always at the worst possible time.
- Our support bracket kit is an easy bolt-on support for the brake lines and bolts to existing threaded holes on the strut.
- Easy bolt-on – Attaches to the brake dust shield mounting holes using provided hardware. dust shields can be retained or removed.
- Prevents brake hard line flex / fatigue – Supports the brake hard line. Unsupported, the hard line will constantly flex and eventually leak.
- Quality throughout – Purpose made brackets are laser – cut from stainless steel and pre-formed. Top quality hardware is provided to complete the kit.

Helper springs have a very low rate and collapse under the car’s weight and their purpose is to keep the main spring tensioned when the wheel goes to full droop under hard cornering (lifted wheel), over bumps, and on the jack.
Helper springs are required in any coilover setup in which the mainspring looses tension at full droop – that is most coilover setups. If the following formula is true, you need helper springs:
Corner weight / Wheel rate < rebound travel
Without helpers, the main spring may not re-seat properly and will cause a sudden change to that corner weight/height.
Correct spring divider hardware is required between the main and helper springs.
Helper springs are available in a variety of diameters and lengths.

✓ Laser Cut – Fits the profile of the shock tower perfectly.
✓ Strong – Solidly ties the towers and cross-member into unibody box sections and inner wheel well. Distributes the shock loads properly and reinforces the entire section.
✓ Holes – Great appearance and convenient routing of hoses and wires.
✓ Weld from one side – Fully seam weld without removing rear firewall.
✓ Light Weight – Properly engineered to distribute loads, not 'over engineered' with excess material and weight.
When converting the 911 torsion bar rear suspension to coilover, the rear shock towers should be reinforced. Coilover springs introduce loads the towers were not designed to handle. Without reinforcement, cracks can develop over time – most frequently between the crossmember and unibody box sections.
Our reinforcement kit strengthens this vulnerable area and properly distributes coilover spring loads.
Rear Shock Tower Reinforcement
Our brackets make it easy to get a professional result, saving you the time and guesswork cutting your own.
This kit requires welding for installation.

This kit prevents dash fault codes from appearing when replacing original electronically controlled PASM type shocks/dampers with conventional shocks or coilovers on Porsche cars.
These modules plug into the control harness in place of the original PASM shocks, emulating their behavior. This satisfies the vehicle ECU tests and prevents the fault messages.
- Eliminates PASM fault messages
- Works with all Porsche cars originally PASM equipped
- May work on other vehicles
- Easy installation, no programming

For cars (1969 to 1973) the 1974-1989 style factory external oil thermostat must be used
Our proprietary design finned oil lines directly replace the factory lines that connect the external thermostat to the front fender mounted oil cooler.
Elephant Racing Purge Valve
No more partial oil changes. Built-in valve lets you evacuate the oil cooler and lines using compressed air. A quick blast forces dirty oil from the lines and cooler into the oil tank. Removes 1-2 quarts the engine and tank drain plugs leave behind.
Brass construction for corrosion resistance and full-flow high-quality fittings make Elephant Racing oil lines the choice solution. The lines are formed perfectly – just like OEM.
- Substantial temperature reduction
- Purge valve clears dirty oil from system
- Easy bolt-on installation
- No duct work, sits in air stream under car
- OEM Fit
- Light weight
As shown in the cutaway, cooling fins are formed directly on the oil lines. The fins yield a four-fold increase in heat-dissipating surface area. The combined length of two lines is about 17 feet and with fins they become a giant oil cooler.
Our proprietary finned oil lines dissipate more heat.
A true bolt-in replacement that connects directly to the factory fittings, they can be used in combination with factory or aftermarket fender and valance mounted coolers.

Our Plated & Plugged Hollow torsion bars are the best available. The ends are plugged to prevent moisture entry that rots ordinary hollow bars from the inside out. The entire bar is zinc plated for superior protection.
Excellent quality control means proper spline fit and spring-rate consistency bar-to-bar. Inferior quality competing bars fail on all counts.
• Hollow, light weight
• Plated & Plugged
• Consistent spring rate
• Great spline fit
Upgrade Hollow bars provide a nice weight savings over equivalent spring rate solid bars, especially true of the heavier rear bars. This is a great way to trim extra pounds from the back of your car.
* The size given is a solid-bar-equivalent. Actual hollow bar measures about. 5mm larger.

Elephant Racing has developed GT3 type inner lower control arms.
These are readily available and dimensionally identical to the factory parts. They can be mix-matched with the factory type inner/outer lower control arm and shims.
The Elephant Racing inner arm is offered in two flavors, GT3 Street Inner Lower Control Arm and GT3 Cup Inner Lower Control Arm. GT3 street is equipped with a rubber bushed central bushing and the GT3 Cup is equipped with a solid caster adjustable central bushing.
Our GT3 Street Inner Lower Control Arm has sport-hardness rubber bushings to provide upgraded control and driver feedback while still offering good road noise isolation.
Our GT3 Cup Inner Lower Control Arms uses weather sealed spherical bearings. These deliver superior precision, control, and performance. They will transmit a bit more road noise than rubber bushings.
These can be paired with a choice of GT3 outer control lower arms:
– Elephant Racing GT3 Street Outer Lower Control Arms
– Elephant Racing GT3 Cup Outer Lower Control Arms
– Factory GT3 Street Outer Lower Control Arms

Fits:
Porsche 992 Front Only
Does Not Fit 992 GT3
GT3 Lower Control Arms (LCA)
992 GT3 cars are equipped with a special front GT3 control arm that is two-piece and length-adjustable by fitting shims between the halves. The changeable length allows for aggressive camber settings and track width adjustment, increasing cornering grip and performance.
Unfortunately the stock 992 GT3 control arm cannot be fit to a non-GT3 992 because the ball joint end is completely different.
That’s why we created these GT3 type front lower control arms to fit the 992 C2, C4 and Turbo cars.
Our GT3 ERX LCAs for the 922 provides the same type front camber and track width adjustment for non-GT3 992 cars.
The GT3 ERX lower control arm is a system built up of three component parts, each ordered separately:
– GT3 ERX adjustable outer lower control arm
– GT3 adjustable inner lower control arm
– GT3 lower control arms shims (various thicknesses, stackable)
GT3 ERX Front Outer Lower Control Arms
Elephant Racing has developed an upgraded GT3 type front lower control arm for the non-GT3 992 cars. Our GT3 type arms have the correct ball joint style for fitment to 992 C2, C4 and Turbo cars. They do not fit 992 GT3 cars.
Like the factory lower control arms, the Elephant Racing outer arm has an integrated ball joint that is weather sealed. Unlike the factory lower control arms, the ball joint in the Elephant Racing arms is rebuildable and we offer the rebuild kit allowing you to renew the arm when needed.
The GT3 ERX LCAs have features to accept the factory height sensor and air deflectors.
The outer arms are sold as a left and right side pair, to be combined with our GT3 inner lower control arms – orderable separately.
These can be paired with a choice of GT3 lower control arms inner:
– Elephant Racing GT3 lower control arm inner rubber bushing
– Elephant Racing GT3 lower control arm inner spherical bearing

Upper Rear Shock Mounts
These shock absorber mounts use high strength hardened steel spherical bearings and are direct replacements for the factory mounts. The Teflon lined spherical bearings used in our kit are maintenance-free and require no supplemental lubrication and the included seals prevent contamination from water or grime, thus extending bearing life.
This kit is intended to work with coilover setups, however it can be adapted to work with factory or lowering springs. Please give us a call for more detail. It is also suited to work perfectly with Von Coilover systems or other similar solutions.
Fully Weather Sealed
We’ve designed in weather seals on the top and bottom to keep dirt out and extend product life. This is the only shock mount suitable for street or extended track use. Dirt and water contaminate ordinary products and accelerate wear.
Improved Shock / Coilover Performance
The spherical bearing in these Elephant Racing shock mounts pivot freely and eliminate deflection that is inherent with factory-style rubber shock mounts. This is important for the following reason:
A factory rubber mount acts as a spring in series with the shock. The factory mount’s rubber spring-action is completely un-damped and reduces a shock’s ability to control tyre contact patch. Our spherical bearing shock mounts allow the shock damper to do its job and effectively control the tire’s contact patch for predictable driving in all road/weather conditions.

These shock mounts use high strength hardened steel spherical bearings and are direct replacements for the factory mounts. The Teflon lined spherical bearings used in our kit are maintenance-free and require no supplemental lubrication. Included seals prevent contamination from water or grime, thus extending bearing life.
Porsche used spherical bearings on the 991 GT3 and Cup Cars. We went one step further and added larger bearings and weather-seals to ensure longevity.
Fully Weather Sealed
We’ve designed in weather seals to keep dirt out and extend product life. This is the only shock mount suitable for street or extended track use. Dirt and water contaminate ordinary products and accelerate wear.
Improved shock / coilover performance
The spherical bearings pivot freely and eliminate the deflection that is inherent with the factory rubber bushings.
This is important for two reasons:
– The factory rubber acts as a spring in series with the shock. This rubber spring-action is completely un-damped and reduces the shocks ability to control the tire contact patch. The spherical bearing allows the damper to do its job and control the contact patch.
– The factory rubber deflects sideways under cornering loads, causing loss of camber just when you need it most. Our spherical bearings eliminate the deflection, maintaining stable and predictable camber.
These will work with stock springs and coilover suspensions.

PolyBronze bearings are superior to plastic bushing alternatives, here's why:
Suspension mounts are coarse sheet metal pressings. They tend to be out-of-round and have irregularities that deform ordinary polyurethane bushings, pinching and binding the friction surface. Polyurethane is "grippy" with an inherently high coefficient of friction and combined with pinching polyurethane bushings create a lot of friction. The result is a harsh ride and reduced tire adhesion.
PolyBronze have a rigid bronze bearing core that does not deform. The polyurethane jacket absorbs mount irregularities while the bronze inner bearing remains true, providing a free-moving machined-fit that rides on a precision race. Provided grease fittings make re-lubrication a breeze and a figure 8 groove keeps grease in place.
The combination delivers zero squeaks and friction-free suspension movement. Well suited to street or track, ride quality.

This is the replacement Control arms for the 2180010 kit.
GT3 Front Suspension System. The Ultimate Front Suspension System
Our GT3 front suspension delivers superior grip and ride quality.
We've adapted our 997 GT3 control arms to fit early '65-'89 911 and '70-'76 914. The system includes a complete subframe and replaces the stock crossmember, control arms, mounts, bushings and ball joints. Built from aircraft grade aluminum, the system is about half the weight of the replaced components.
Ease of adjustment
Easily adjust camber, caster and even track width.
Left and right threaded double adjusters are provisioned on the control and caster arms to provide for easy length adjustment without disconnecting the member.
Low friction, spherical action
Low friction allows the suspension to follow road/track irregularities smoothly, keeping tire contact patches stable. Ride and performance are greatly improved.
Pivot points are precision spherical heim joints, oversized for strength and durability. Spherical heim joints move freely with very low friction, yet precisely position suspension members to maintain alignment settings with zero deflection under load. Lack of deflection makes the car predictable and easier to drive fast, reducing need for constant corrections by the driver.
Spherical action of the heim joints self aligns continuously, ensuring smooth non-binding action even when the chassis is flexing under load.
Weathersealed
Heim and ball joints are completely sealed to keep out contaminants and water. The result is a extended life and a robust system suitable for street or track use.
Improved Geometry and subframe
Control arms are longer than stock to provide a improved camber curve and grip when cornering. Front pickup point is similarly moved inboard to maintain a stable caster curve.
Our GT3 subframe includes longitudinal members that connect the front mounts back to the crossmember. This provides a proper load path to transfer the considerable braking forces from the front mounts back to the crossmember. This mimics the braking load path of the factory 935 arms and product control arms.
Braking loads are thus fed into the chassis at the crossmember, as intended by the factory.
Fit and finish
Attention to detail stands out. From the quality of the machine work to the hard anodize finish that is both attractive and scratch resistant. Stressed threads are heli-coiled for strength. Heim joints are replaceable and sealed for durability.
The system readily bolts onto your existing chassis, no drilling or welding required – installation is completely reversible.

Product description:
Coilover springs increase the diameter of front struts, often contacting the chassis such that the spring diameter limits the available camber adjustment range.
These extended-length upper spring perches solve the problem by moving the spring down where it won't contact the chassis.
Some cars can get over a degree of added camber adjustment range.
Extended-length perches are available for 2.25″ springs. You can add a 2.25″ to 2.5″ adaptor to use with 2.5″ springs.
Available with a 26mm ID for use only with QuickChange camber plates and with a 16mm ID for use with conventional camber plates.

We've re-engineered a 930 style caliper with specific enhancements for direct fitment to the 911. Our 930-ERX calipers are an updated version of the venerable 930 brakes which have long been the benchmark for performance.
Fits:
Porsche 930 1975-89 930 W/ 3.5" Caliper Bolt Spacing
The 930 Brake Upgrade
930 brakes have been an awesome upgrade for 911 cars in terms of thermal capacity and pedal feel. The four piston calipers and massive 32mm front / 28mm rear rotors give incredible stopping power.
In addition to excellent stopping power, they have a period correct retro race look, retain the parking brake functionality, and even fit under many 15 inch wheels. This is why 930 brakes have traditionally been the sought-after upgrade for 911 racecars, and high end/high powered street car builds.
However fitting them has traditionally been difficult – requiring custom machining (due to differences in 930/911 caliper bolt spacing), wheel clearance issues, and limited availability.
Our re-engineered 930-ERX type calipers keep everything that's great while fixing all the issues. And they accept readily-available 930 type pads, rotors, and master cylinders.
930-ERX Enhancements over Original 930 Calipers
✓ No caliper machining is required for 911 trailing arm fitment.
✓ Our rear calipers have the correct 3.0 inch bolt spacing and radial position to mount directly onto '69-'89 911/912 trailing arms.
✓ The front and rear caliper cooling fins are low profile such that they do not interfere with Fuchs wheel spokes without the need for wheel spacers.
✓ A modern staggered piston design is used for even pad wear on our 930-ERX calipers. Original 930 calipers used same size pistons, which caused pads to wear in a taper.
930-ERX Fitment and Compatibility
The front calipers have 3.5 inch bolt spacing and bolt directly to front struts as equipped on 911 and 912 cars from '72-'89 and 911 S models prior to '72. Early front struts that have 3.0 caliper bolt spacing can convert to 3.5 inch struts, contact us for details.
The rear calipers have 3.0 bolt spacing for direct fitment to 911 and 912 trailing arms from '69-'89 including aluminium and steel trailing arms.
Front and rear calipers accept standard 930 brake pads and standard 911 brake hoses.
Rear calipers use standard type 930 rotors part 930-352-046-01
Front calipers fit with regular 911 hubs and use early type 930 floating rotors with our hat kit #2190005 (floating) or #2190010 (fixed), or late 930 hubs with late 930 fixed rotors.
Use standard 930 master cylinder on '77-'89 911 cars equipped with brake booster, or our master cylinder kit #2190011 for pre-77 cars with non-boosted brakes.

Adjustable Drop Links
The ideal sway bar (anti roll bar) is completely unloaded at static ride height. Stock drops links almost always preload the sway bar since the car doesn't sit perfectly level due to asymmetries such as driver weight. Our front and rear adjustable-length drop links for C4/C2 allow you to eliminate preload of the sway bar for maximum performance.
A preloaded sway bar shifts the weight carried by each of the tyres, increasing grip on weighted ones at the expense of decreasing grip on un-weighted ones. This shifted weight/grip causes uneven handling in left and right turns, and premature brake lockup since the less-loaded tyre locks up first. Preload can be completely eliminated by adjusting drop link length and sway bar performance optimized.

Front and Rear QuickChange™ Blade Style Sway Bar System
Blade style adjustable sway bar (anti roll bar) system is the ultimate choice for performance and tuning. This superior-quality system delivers unique features and advantages that are without rival. It is simply the best. The blade style adjuster mechanism varies roll stiffness with the angle of the blade. Set it vertically for full-stiff, horizontal for full-soft, and intermediate angles for other stiffness levels.
Blade style adjustment offers advantages over traditional adjustable sway bars including faster adjustment and superior geometry.
The rear sway bars fit 66mm bolt spacing on the sway bar mounts as equipped on 1978-1989 911 cars. 1965-1977 cars can be upgraded to the later 66mm type mounts
Perfect Geometry
Fixed-length arms ensure the angle of the drop links are not changed with stiffness adjustment. Geometry and kinematic behavior is always perfect. The bar always rotates freely, with low-friction, and without binding in all adjustment positions.
Traditional sway bars adjust roll stiffness by changing the length of the lever arm, at the same time changing the angle of the drop link. This can cause poor force-transmission angles in some positions. The result can be binding, high-friction, and excessive load on the mounts to the chassis.
Lightweight
Hollow bar reduces weight.
Fast and Easy Adjustment
No need to jack up the car or remove the wheels. Reach under the car, loosen one bolt to rotate the blade type adjuster. The angle of the blade defines the stiffness.
Literally about 1 minute to adjust, faster with practice.Infinitely variable adjustment lets you dial in the precise roll stiffness.
For track cars this fast-adjustment can be invaluable when time in the pits or paddock is short. Adjusting traditional sway bars is a lengthy process – jack up car, remove wheels, adjust, re-install wheels.

Retro RSR Adjustable Sway Bar System
Retro appearance combined with modern performance and features make these adjustable sway bars (anti roll bar) a great choice for period-correct builds.
Drop links
Appearance similar to the RSR originals with a grey colour for a discreet and retro appearance. Left and right threaded precision rod ends make easy work of adjusting front drop link length. Adjustable length makes it easy to eliminate any preload on the bar. Teflon lined rod ends never require lubrication.
Lightweight
Hollow bars weigh half as much as similar solid bars delivering equal stiffness..
Bushings
Teflon impregnated bushings are grease and maintenance free and provide smooth operation and long life.
Through-body style front bar
Installs through the body same as the pre-1974 cars and the early turbo cars. Cars not originally equipped with a through-body sway bar should purchase the optional backer plate kit.
Retro-Look Arms
Steel arms are similar to the original RSR type and have drilled adjustment positions.

Save Expensive Thermostats And Oil Lines
Stripped threads are a common problem when removing oil lines from the external thermostat.
The aluminum thermostat threads become fused to the steel tube nut that secures the oil lines. If you get enough leverage to force the nut free, it takes the aluminum threads along with it – destroying the expensive thermostat and the oil line.
Elephant Racing has the solution; we manufacture a 30mm tube nut replacement kit that let's you save thermostats and oil lines.
If your oil lines won't come free from the thermostat, use a cut-off wheel to slit the side of the tube nut. You can then break the nut free using a cold chisel. This technique sacrifices the tube nut to save the expensive thermostat.
You then use our kit to replace the tube nut that was cut off. Both the oil line and the thermostat are saved.
The kit provides a 2-piece tube nut. The threaded nut fits over the end of the tube and is slipped on first. A spring lock ring is then slipped on. The spring lock ring cinches down on the tube, preventing the nut from coming off

Stock Spec Spring Plate Bushes
A true stock spec bushing replacement for spring plates.
Spring plate bush condition can be accessed by looking at the hole in the spring plate cover. It should be concentric around the spring plate. When the bushings deform, the cover becomes non-concentric around the spring plate and in extreme cases actually contacts the cover plate – metal-to-metal.
More than just bushings, this is a full kit that includes inner and outer bushings (4 pcs), adhesive, instructions, long bolts to press in the bushings, and abrasive cloth to prep the surface.
Rubber is the choice if you want to restore factory ride and performance in a zero-maintenance solution. Check our PolyBronze Bearings for a high-performance solution.
Also see our Bushings Removal Tool to simplify the removal of old bushings.
Notes – 1967 spring plate bushings changed mid-year
The following 1967 chassis numbers transitioned to the late style 1969-89 style bushes.
• 1967 911 from Chassis Number 307 325
• 1967 912 from Chassis Serial 354 938
• 1967 911 S from Chassis Serial 305101 A
All earlier 1967 chassis numbers use the early 1965-67 style bushes
