What This Product Does This kit brings together the tandem and scavenge oil pumps used to move and return engine oil within the lubrication system. The pumps help maintain oil circulation around critical engine components and return oil from scavenge areas back to the main oil circuit for consistent lubrication.

Symptoms of Fault
Low or fluctuating oil pressure readings Warning messages or lamps related to oil pressure (model dependent)Increased mechanical noise from the engine, especially when hot Signs of oil aeration or poor return flow in the lubrication system

Why Replacement Matters
Oil pumps are central to the engine’s lubrication system. When wear or internal damage reduces their ability to move oil or hold pressure, the risk of accelerated internal wear increases. During major engine work or a rebuild, these pumps are often renewed together so the scavenge and pressure circuits remain matched in condition. Using a dedicated kit helps ensure the correct parts are combined for the intended Porsche applications and reduces the chance of mixing incompatible components.
