If you choose to replace only the steering rack and, upon return of your exchange unit, we discover that the rack bar is scored or contaminated with swarf, this indicates that debris is present in the system. In such cases, we advise replacing the pump as well.
Please note: if we have advised that there is swarf in the system and you choose not to replace both components, any future warranty claims related to this issue will not be valid.
